And our weather has been getting steadily warmer in the past couple of summers. Last year it topped at 90, this year it's topping at 110.

By 'our' does that mean that you're in Texas too?

Yep see that'll do it. We don't get snow much but we do get icy rain in large amounts, especially so close to the coast.

I live in Texas, natively from New Jersey. My brother lives in Texas. Plano, pretty much right next to Dallas. And yikes, sounds like everyone's weather's pretty intense right now. ...funny, it's been that way here too, and now it's overcast and windy. Oh those wacky northern states. They just keep ya guessin'.

Southern California weather is evil and bipolar! Can go from over 100 one week then drop in a cold rain the next. It aint fun. XD Though our summer so far has been normal. :/

I may just start up an rp regardless of Floyd not having a Doc. He can always get one later, and in the meantime he has underground resources.

I don't think I've added in my two cents here yet!
Summer's going well. I'm working two jobs at the moment, making a bunch of money that I recently discovered is going to go right into college funds when I go back home (Which isn't too bad because thankfully tuition at the community college I'm going to isn't crazy expensive and I have a VA Disabled Veteran's scholarship to help thanks to my dad). However, I am about 1,500 miles away from my boyfriend and will be until mid-August. So no bueno to that.
I am also seriously considering enlisting in the Army. I talked to a recruiter before I left Florida and went to a PT session with actual enlistees, and see it as something that if considered, might be worthwhile. But no decisions until I've considered everything else. Also...there's the whole fact that, while I'm actually in pretty good shape by military standards (thank you high school colorguard), that there's a big fat stamp on my medical records that screams "ASTHMA" to the Army, and while it isn't severe, I'm still on an inhaler that I do need to use occasionally. So chances are, it might not even be an option in the long run.
